Academics Before Athletics

Newrock YFCA is proud to introduce our Academic Coaching Program that will be available to ALL Newrock Participants. Our program will offer tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays for one hour prior to the start of practice with no additional cost to you. You would normally pay $45-$60 per week for such services. Well, NewRock YFCA has been able to establish partnerships in the community that care about our program and our athletes and those partnerships make it possible to offer such a program. Our athletes will receive tutoring from Certified Teachers that will identify our athlete's learning style and skills needed to acheive a higher level of learning! The Academic Coaching will be provided by CODI Educational Services.
We hope to introduce the program to you by the begining of August and implement the tutoring services by mid August so our athletes get a head start.
More information regarding this initiative will be distributed by our Scholastic Director to your Team Managers soon. Stay tuned we will also update changes on this page.
